《我家厨房》是北京旅游卫视全新打造的微剧。每集25分钟，一共12集，每集讲述一个独立成篇的故事，故事都发生在名为"我家厨房"的小餐馆。餐馆的老板是一位沉默温和的中年大叔，他经营着一家只要有客人就不打烊的小店。该剧以店老板的视角讲述了餐馆过往食客的故事，每一集重点介绍一道简单别致的食物，并着重讲述一个与该食物相关联的人物故事，用美味食物折射出许多人不同的人生状态，剧情设置可谓另辟蹊径。
东北长白山区刘老根带着“岁数不大，还想干点事”的简单意愿从省城回到家乡，利用天然的旅游资源办起了农民度假村。在创业的过程中，刘老根不断遭遇来自生活、观念、情感和内心的冲击，使这位在生活面前从容不迫的过来人，不得不一次次地重新审视自己……如何推动事来，如何对待情感，如何把握内心平衡，似乎是刘老根永远做不完的课题……
而最令麒英啼笑皆非的是，麒英的妻子吴娴竟与十三姨志趣相投，感情更是亲如姊妹。而淘气聪明的飞鸿亦与十三姨十分投缘。
