《冰血暴》监制沃伦·利特尔菲尔德(Warren Littlefield)透露，《冰血暴》第四季将于2019年秋开拍。诺亚·霍利今夏将拍摄娜塔莉·波特曼主演的[淡蓝色圆点]，之后再开始创作《冰血暴》第四季。霍利会先写先导集剧本，2019年年初，编剧组紧接着开始工作。
