告别身宗后，星罗班渡海抵达京剧猫十二宗之一“步宗”。大家都对步宗所知甚少，白糖等猫只得抱着种种疑问，踏入了步宗的地界，步宗地势荒芜，环境恶劣。路途上，不但要解决与新成员“海漂”之间的矛盾，更误入荒漠，遭遇沙暴，面对猫型铠甲“异武铠”的追逐与猛攻，因物资尽毁而陷入了生死存亡的危机之中！所幸星罗班临危之际团结一致，更得神秘猫“沙无痕”从中相助，才得以在荒漠中的“笼门客栈”落下脚来。
