尽管CW电视网今日宣布续订周五档播出的口碑音乐戏剧《疯狂前女友》（Crazy Ex-Girlfriend）第四季，但是该剧的女主角兼剧集联合主创Rachel Bloom在社交网站上宣布《疯狂前女友》第四季ysgou.cc将为全剧的最终季，此前Rachel Bloom就曾经表示希望该剧能拍摄四季。同样在周五档期播出的另一部剧集《处女情缘》（Jane The Virgin）同样也被续订了第五季，但是早前女主角Gina Rodriguez也曾表示第五季将是最终季。这两部收视一般、但为CW连续两年拿下金球奖喜剧类最佳女主角的剧集可能都会在2018-2019播出季画上句号。
