根据Deadline表示，经过艰难的谈判和协商，詹妮弗·安妮斯顿、柯特妮·考克斯、丽莎·库卓、大卫·休默、马特·勒布朗、马修·派瑞等六位主角与华纳电视公司达成协议共识，他们将重聚并共同录制一个《老友记》特辑，时长为一小时左右，每位演员的出场报酬在300万～400万美元。
