《镜花水月第三季》讲述一个相亲类真人秀节目的拍摄团队是如何通过制造各种戏剧性的冲突、背后操纵参赛者的关系等重重包装，把满满的“抓马”塞进节目中去的。第三季会继续邀请一些女性导演来拍摄，包括施瑞-阿普莱碧、莎拉-格特鲁德、简尼斯-库克（Janice Cooke）和泽哈-斯图尔特（Nzingha Stewart）。
