最果夕日1986年出生于日本神户，2006年荣获现代诗手贴奖，她的诗词简单易懂并且很有透明感的造句广受年轻人欢迎，2014年刊登的《给死亡系的我们》斩获现代诗花椿奖。其诗歌集销量达到3000册，是总销量1.8万册的畅销诗人。
