一场洪灾让儿时玩伴澪和野江被冲散。澪被大阪料理名店天满一兆奄的老板娘收留，给予了澪温暖，也发现了澪极具料理天分。一场大火烧了店铺也葬送了老板的性命。澪和老板娘肩负着重振天满一兆奄之名，来到了江户。无意中被一家名为鹤屋的料理店老板发现，勾起了老板对已逝女儿的回忆，在发现澪颇具天分后，让澪在鹤屋帮起忙来。
