一对情同姐妹的好友嘉仪、白玲，嘉仪奉父母之命与设计师柯振邦订婚，但嘉仪却对振邦一点感觉也没有；在结婚前多嘉仪在情同姐妹的好友白玲全力支持下，离台赴美结识了梁雨成，结婚并育有一女。另一方面留在台湾的白玲在经歷感情受创后决定出国散心顺道探望嘉仪，却在赴美前夕竟意外捡查罗患胃癌。嘉仪接获讯息后即刻返台，见好友因感情心灵受创而今又患有绝症，决心在好友临死前完成她追求一份真爱的心愿；找不到合适人选的她，只有央求自己的丈夫雨成，雨成在无奈下答应，雨成佯装是自己的双胞胎弟弟雨文，在嘉仪的安排及促成下渐渐获得白玲的好感，另一方面对嘉仪仍旧未忘情的振邦，时常出现在嘉仪左右，不禁让雨成怀疑两人旧情復燃，这四个人的感情究竟会如何发展？
